MY REVIEW!!!!

I usually start with the summary in my own words, but I think the one above pretty much sums it up. I couldn’t have said it better myself. :D Now let’s get onto my review.

So I should have known that with a title like Soul Survivor I would need tissue, but I didn’t listen. There were so many jaw dropping moments, tear jerker moments, and moments you just want to run from. I literally didn’t put this book down once I started reading it. The first few chapters were a little hard to get through because there was a little insta romance. I forged on and I’m so so glad I did. It wasn’t what I thought and ever thing that I thought I knew flew out the window. LOL There are just so many things you didn’t see coming and I loved that and also hated it. I wanted to know what was going to happen. I loved this new take on angels as well. I can’t really say much about them because then you wouldn’t have anything to look forward to, not that there aren’t other things to look forward to because there are. I mean there is Alex and “the darkness” AKA Seth. Oh and there is that one tiny little problem about a curse dealing with Hailee, but that’s not really important…..NOT!!!!! The book centers on that and I don’t know what I would have done if I was Hailee, probably the same thing she did which was……HA I’m not going to tell. :P This book was so much fun to read!!! Now I just wish the second one was out already, but alas it’s not *Frowny face*

Alex is a guardian angel and a hot one at that. When we first meet him, he is this care free and around nice guy. BUT I didn’t really connect with him….I didn’t feel any depth to him like the other characters. He just felt fake. Now when we meet Seth and Ami I felt like he was truly himself and we finally get to see the real Alex. He has his good moments and he had those moments I wanted to punch him in he face.

Hailee is a…….I can’t tell, cause then you would know the secret (you didn’t hear it from me) She has a lot on her shoulders and she is only 19. She is learning about things she didn’t know existed and she handles it quite well. And by that I mean she feels like she can’t breathe. The choice she has to make is not an easy one and I would have done the same thing she did…which is cry. How could you ask someone to make a choice that will have dire consequences for someone else? IT was just soooo real and it gets to you. I felt really connected to Hailee and if she was real, we would totally hit it off.

Seth who is the dark angel of SEXINESS!!!!!!!!!! LOL I don’t know what it is but I can’t resist a bad boy. Well he is technically a man, but whatever. LOL I know the things he has done and yet I love him. I can see how Hailee can’t resist him. Who could? Now it all isn’t sunshine and roses LOL especially with him being “the darkness” as Alex and Ami call him. He has a temper and he goes from hot to cold in an instant. He is so conflicted during the whole novel and we find out why in the book. It was a major blow to the head. I was like NO FREAKING WAY!!!!

Overall: An awesome jaw dropping novel that will leave you guessing, who will be the…soul survivor. *Gasp*
