Review
What an original concept.  A family that runs a private time travel business in Alaska. The government has to keep a close eye on the business, since it's time travel and they have to adhere to certain rules so as not to screw anything up that will affect any other time periods. Now, the government wants to find any reason to shut down all privately run time travel agencies and they have their eyes on the Buttermans. There is an agent at their facility just looking for a reason to shut them down. Enter a teenage rock star needs to go back in time to try and get his life back on track and a teenage girl who helps run her family's business. When her family allows Bianca to take Tristan on his trip, lots of adventure and danger ensues. You cannot help but love it. What a clever and cute story-line. Especially when you throw a little bit of romance in the mix. hehe.

Bianca has been helping with her parent's business her entire life. It's what she has always wanted to do and it's what she is good at. She is sort of anal about it and has always done everything by the book. She has her best friend to hang out with (who is hilarious), but not much else.

Tristan is a pretty boy pop star, whose music Bianca does not approve of. In fact, she makes fun of her friend because she loves Tristan's band. Anyways, he is sort of spoiled and a bit of a rule breaker, so you can see how they are opposites.

It was interesting to see how their personalities grew from being around each other. They sort of rubbed off on each other, which I think was a good thing. I liked Bianca a whole lot better than I liked Tristan. I will not be too harsh, though, because the author wrote him as a spoiled pop star, who is fighting an addiction to drugs. Of course, he is going to annoy me sometimes. *rolls eyes* I had a bit of a love/hate thing going for him for a while. Also, the romance was cute. I mean.. they get to know each other TRAVELING THROUGH TIME. I would have liked a wee bit more development, though. Anyways, enough about the characters. Lets move on to...

The time travel! :D I have not read many time travel books, but I do adore them. If done right, they can be so much fun and interesting. This book had some popular eras that I loved included. I do not want to straight up spoil where the characters end up, but I was super stoked! I felt like the time travel was well done. I am not sure if any of the explanations are plausible, (what am I saying. It's fiction. lol) but I believed it and was enthralled by the explanations.

I was sad when the book ended. I cannot wait to read the second book and see what further adventures await Bianca. Maybe Tristan will win me over better! More Butterman Travel Agency, please! (:

A very fun story full of adventure and some awesome historical settings that will entertain people of different generations and different interests.

4.4/5
Lovin' was a little quick, but cute nonetheless.
I wanted to throw a rock at Tristan's face at some points, but I guess he is okay. (: He had good moments.

  1. Thank you Ryan! I am so excited you enjoyed it! And yeah, I know what you mean--I had a love/hate thing with Tristan too. And Bianca especially did. Ins't it crazy when you find yourself attracted to the least likely person? Life is crazy like that sometimes. And even crazier when you find out that person may have a bigger purpose. ;)
Thank you so much for featuring me here today, and for your lovely review! I'm flattered.
