{Review} Blade Song by J.C. Daniels

Kit Colbana—half breed, assassin, thief, jack of all trades—has a new job: track down the missing ward of one of the local alpha shapeshifters. It should be a piece of cake.

So why is she so nervous? It probably has something to do with the insanity that happens when you deal with shifters—especially sexy ones who come bearing promises of easy jobs and easier money.

Or maybe it’s all the other missing kids that Kit discovers while working the case, or the way her gut keeps screaming she’s gotten in over her head. Or maybe it’s because if she fails—she’s dead.

If she can stay just one step ahead, she should be okay. Maybe she’ll even live long to collect her fee…

I received this from Shiloh Walker, Inc. for my honest review.

I was so excited when I realized I got accepted by the publisher to review this book. I didn’t think that I would get it. J Now that, that’s off my chest I can get to the book.

Kit Colbana is an assassin and also a half-breed. She is part human and part Aneira. Aneira are women warriors with magical powers, which is so flipping awesome. Kit loves doing her job, but is weary when Damon asks for her help because you can’t trust Were creatures. Her only weakness is kids and everyone knows it. So before she knows what she is doing she is agreeing to help Damon find Doyle. Afterwards she finds out if she doesn’t find him, she’s dead. So Kit and Damon go and try to find him together. This leads to a lot of dangerous situations as well as sexual tension.

I thought this book was going to be young adult but it’s what they call new adult…I think. Which I was pretty excited about. After I started reading it, I was really glad that it wasn’t young adult because let me tell you. WOW

This book was so flipping awesome. It has a little bit of everything for everyone. It has assassins, shape shifters, witches, and vampires. Oh and the sexual tension was out of the world, I loved every minute of it.

Kit isn’t one of those girls that say that they are good and turns out that they aren’t. She is the real deal. She kinda comes on strong and I don’t think a lot of people will like her. I didn’t like her at first because she was too blunt. As the story moved on she started growing on me. She’s just so headstrong.

Damon is just a bunch of hotness!!! He is a Were and no one knows what he really is, they just assume.

Overall this is one of the best so far this year for me. It feels like this book was made for me. LOL I can’t wait to buy this. :D
